Sadly, Tuk has passed away. He died July 3, 2011, and was 12 years old. He is watching over Shelly and Casey and the rest of the pack, and is running free now. It breaks my heart, as I felt I had a special bond with him. Hopefully, Maya won't be too lonely without him. I fear she too, will pass soon as well. You're in our hearts Tuk, we'll never forget you.
Every favorite, and every comment help keep his memory alive. If any of you have gone on a wolf walk with him, I hope you will be able to keep his memory alive through your experience and through your own photos.

Technique ImpactThis picture just reaches out to me! It's very original, giving it the impression of how wolves look in their natural state, which blows me away. The color quality in this photo is fantastic, luring people in to see this magnificent animal. With the wolf (<3) looking to his left, and with the great quality, you can really see all the details. This photo was taken at the perfect time, showing how beautiful, and respected wolves are. Very nicely done. I love how this creature's expression shows curiosity. Everything about this photo is beautiful, including the background. The nature in the background shows how free-spirited wolves are. I very much respect this picture, and the wolf in it.
